HOPE Bereavement Care is:

HOPE Bereavement Care provides counselling and educational services for families and others who have experienced the sudden or unexpected death on an infant, young child or adolescent under 18 years of age.

HOPE Bereavement Care works in partnership with SIDS and Kids Victoria. It carries out the work of SIDS and Kids Victoria in the Barwon region.

HOPE Bereavement Care is supported by SIDS and Kids Victoria, the Barwon community, United Way Geelong, and Barwon Health. No government support is received.

Bereaved parents are involved in many aspects of our service, as parent supporters, group leaders and members of our committee.

Governance

HOPE Bereavement Care is the registered business name of Barwon Bereavement Services Inc.   [BBS].   BBS Inc ‘s Board is comprised of community representatives elected by the members of BBS Inc.
