Hope’s 2024 Annual report is available.

This year’s annual report shines a light on an incredibly active and innovative period for Hope. We’ve supported hundreds of families throughout the region, grieving the loss of a baby or child, the sudden death of a loved one, or deaths by suicide. We expanded our support groups and are determined to grow further to address unmet needs. Our memorial and remembrance events, like the Walk of Hope, SPAN Walk, and our Annual Remembrance Service, remain central to our mission. This year, we also launched National Grief Week to foster awareness, spark conversations, and encourage communities to support those coping with loss. This week featured meaningful community activities like “Walking with Grief,” drumming, educational sessions, and film showings with panel discussions. However, our art exhibition was perhaps the most impactful, showcasing the extraordinary artwork created by those navigating their grief journey. Many of these pieces have been thoughtfully included in this annual report, symbolizing the power of art in the healing process. We hope that promoting this week across Australia inspires a stronger support system for the bereaved.
